The annual arrival of Jingles, this year was a bit delayed. The boys forgot to let him know where we were living and there were lots of things going on this year. We sent him a letter and a few days later he responded letting us know that he was quarantined due to COVID, but he had sent his cousin "Beardo." Beardo was a bit eccentric and didn't quite understand the role of the elf, but he got on board and the boys still loved getting out of bed and finding him every morning. He found another KC Royal elf to join in the fun too. He played some of Jingles tricks, when the boys planted peppermint at Grandma Becky's the next morning candy canes popped up. And he was good at pancake making, the boys favorite. Still some Christmas magic, just a bit different, like everything this year.
