Great to be Three

And we have a three year old--or twee year old if Kai says it as he tries to hold up the correct amount of fingers (three requires a lot of dexterity).  The past year has seen Kai grow into his own little person with a sense of humor and attitude and lots to say--in Serbian and English.  He still likes to cuddle and says "hold me" often and "sleep with me."  He has a mind of his own and will tell you when he is ready to go or go to sleep.  Once his thumb goes in mouth, he asks for Nemo and Miljeko (milk) that's it. He has really started playing more with Foster now and started playing a lot on his own.  You'll hear him often babbling away in Serbian playing with the cars and planes.  You know if Kai has been playing because the cars will all be in organized rows.  He still gets excited to see Mom and Dad after we've been apart.  He wanted an orange car for his birthday, which Grandma luckily was able to pin down.  And the cleaning supplies and mixer from Mom and Dad were a hit. We also had Thomas themed cakes, as one celebration is never enough.
