Usually a trip to Sarajevo involves a windy 4 hour car-sick inducing car ride. Because of this we've been reluctant to take the boys. However, in August the railroads here opened up a new Banja Luka to Sarajevo line with brand new trains. Foster and I did a test trip and had such a great time that we brought Kai back a few weeks later. What a fun trip, although a tired mom and boys after 5 hours each way on the trip. It was a 5:30 start in Banja Luka, an early day.

A nice gentleman who road down with us on the train and then we ended up riding back with him the next day. He was so sweet with the boys-- a grandpa himself. And actually lives lose to us in Banja Luka. We had to switch trains on the way back and he was so helpful and kept the boys entertained. |
