Fireman boots and Fixin' Bikes

Foster acquired a new (to us) set of firemen boots this week and hasn't taken them off since. They definitely complete his firemen look. He is still putting out fires every day and evening at our house. "Mom, stop, there's a fire." He watched Dad fix mom's bike the other day and decided that his bike needed some fixing up to.

He has found his voice and does he like to use it. His favorite past time is watching big brother. He has a sweet disposition and is only waking up one time a night (he really loves his mom and dad). He also likes eating his hands and doing the happy baby pose so the last two pictures capture this perfectly.

We are so lucky to have such great grandparents for the boys!

Last of the summer Labor Day fun at the lake

So sad to see the summer go, but happy to end it with some more great summer memories at the Lake.

Kai is three months old

Our baby Kai is pretty easy going and has lots of smiles, especially when he wakes up in the morning. He loves to watch his brother and handles the rough housing pretty well. He really wants to be on the move and it won't be long before he is rolling around. He weighs in at 15 pounds, not sure what percentile that is, but he is sure making dad and mom stronger.

Things going on around our house

We have lots of pictures of special occasions and vacations, but we often forget to take pictures of the boring, day to day things. But once in awhile it's important to stop and remember the things that make up those other days. Like the other day when Foster told me that he needed to "feed" huggy bear, you can tell he has been watching me feed Kai a lot the last few months and Kai has started giving us the sweetest smiles the last few weeks.
