First time Skiing

Little did we know that skiing was only an hour away from us.  It was pretty warm in Banja Luka, spring is coming, but an hour away on the Kozara mountain, enough snow to keep a new skiier like Foster happy.  Nothing special for real ski aficiandos, but growing up in the Midwest John and I aren't real ski slope snobs, so it was perfect.

Foster took about 20 minutes of lessons and then was finished, but he said he ready to take classes, a small win at least.  We loved it that it was such a relaxed place, we could even go sledding, something that both boys love, we'll be back next year for sure.

Tub Time

Even Kai has gotten into the bathtub fun now--despite the photos showing otherwise.  He often comes into the bathroom points at the tub and then shows us he wants to take clothes off and get in. Also a good reminder that life is not always smiles.

Surprise Snow!

Our second snow of the year, it didn't stick this time, but was fun to watch it coming down.

Cheers! Happy 2017!

One of Kai's favorite things to do at dinner--Cheers! So he was pretty excited about the count down to 2017!  We are so lucky to have had a wonderful 2016 and looking forward to what 2017 brings.

We are so lucky to have Vera-she has become like part of our family and of course the center of Kai's world.
