Kai is 6 months old

Six months ago sweet baby Kai joined us and we can't imagine life without his morning smiles and squeals of excitement. He has learned some new tricks like rolling over and had his first nibbles of real food, with carrots being the winner so far. He is constantly kicking his feet and does lots of moving around at night time these days.

Happy Thanksgiving

Lots to be thankful for this Thanksgiving! We had Brian and Margie over and a special guest, Damir from Croatia. We all squeezed into our little place and had a proper Thanksgiving meal. Foster discovered that he loved pumpkin pie.

A visit by Grandma and Grandpa Meagher

We were so luck to have Grandma and Grandpa Meagher came to visit for a few weeks. They helped take care of Kai and took Foster on lots of adventures, like going to the Air & Space Museum and a play and a trolley ride. We were so lucky that they got to come and spend some time with us.

Making of the Pumpkins

Lots of fun carving our pumpkins, drinking hot cocoa and coloring Halloween Decorations. Foster read lots of Halloween books this year from the library this year and was very interested in making sure our house was in good shape for the holiday.

Halloween 2015

Foster's first Halloween state-side when he could really remember and get excited and boy what fun we had. A parade at  daycare, Hilloween with Aunt Whitney, a party at the park with friends, another parade and party and finally an evening party and trick-or-treating. This little Cookie Monster was pretty tuckered out.

Kai is lucky to have a big brother who wants to make him happy. Foster is always worried when Kai starts crying and will sing "Jingle Bells" to him in the car when he is upset. This morning Foster decided that Kai needed a story.

Kai is 5 months old

Our sweet Baby Kai is 5 months old-oh my! He is still "talking" to us a lot and giving us wonderful giggles and smiles especially before he goes to bed and when he wakes up. We still aren't sure what color his hair is going to be but those blue eyes are still there.
