And off to Penang

After a few days in K.L. we headed to Penang and island northwest of K.L. An amazing little colonial city that surprised us with its great food and culture, which kept us entertained for 3 days!

More of Malaysia

More picts of our Malaysian travels.

First stop, the Kuala Lumpur Bird park. So many birds just wondering around and letting you get up close, as long as you had some treats in hand to share. Then it was off to an amazing park. So many swings and slides and equipment, Foster didn't know where to start. The park was at the foot of the Petronas Towers.

Malaysia

We recently took a whole (much needed) week off and headed to the Malaysia. We spent a few days in the capital Kuala Lumpur then headed north to an area called Penang, spending a few days in the main city Georgetown. Then we took a three hour boat ride to the island of Langkowi. A good mix of urban sites and beach relaxation and the food was amazing. More photos to come, but a few picts from Kuala Lumpur.
