Dive in

Foster is apparently half fish, we should have known this from his bath time antics. He had a blast in the ocean and kept mom and dad on their toes, as he no fear and kept wanting to go out farther and farther.

On our vacation, we got Foster to slow down for just a few seconds (hurry quick) usually with the enticement  of a peanut butter cracker to get some shots of our little 19 month old who is growing up so fast.

Where are we?

We had a three day weekend recently and took off for Goa, situated about an hour Southeast of Hyderabad. We had no idea the quiet paradise we would find. Far from the honking and hustle and bustle of Hyderabad, the only thing we could hear for 3 days was the crash of the waves outside our beach shack. Foster also got to do some swimming and playing in the sand, but the thing he was most excited about and kept talking about was "going on an airplane."

Even though he doesn't look like it, Foster had a great time, but was ready for dinner when we tried to get this family shot before the sun set.

Happy Hyderaversary

One year ago we were touching down in Hyderabad at 3:00 a.m. and heading to our new apartment.  Since that time we have made lots of new friends and had our share of crazy experiences. Hopefully one day when Foster tastes India food, sees a Sari or hears Bollywood music he will have some recollection of the time that we spent here.

One year later, we've been through a lot and come out wiser, but excited for what the next year brings and Foster still is asking for his pacifier (somethings don't really change).
