Diwali Celebrations

Diwali is one of the most important Hindu festivals in India. It is called the festival of lights. All of the businesses stream lights outside and there are lots and lots and lots of fireworks for 3 days (imagine you are in a war zone). Our neighbors all decorated their doors for the occasion and the local bakery made special cupcakes, yum (there are also lots of sweets eaten during this time too).

Just like my dad, I have begun to have a special relationship with peanut butter. No longer happy to eat it on toast, I want it straight out of the jar with a spoon. And don't try and hide it, I know exactly which cabinet it is kept in and will go an stand there are cry for "this, this" until I get my fix.
